The end of my searching Journey

Have you ever wanted something so bad that you would go so far to get it. I'm definitely not talking about girls here.. I'm talking about passion here. PASSION FOR SHOES!! :))
Well I have been searching for a shoe for quite sometime.. it was released back in 2007 for a limited pairs. Well i was kinda unlucky as financially i am not that secured back then ( as if i am so secured now :S )

Lets talk about this shoe in particular. It's called Rakugaki from Asics Onitsuka Tiger. I am so into this particular brand because for me it is like the casual version of clarks. and I would go for design that wont be available in uptown or worn by those Remps ( Rempit sounds abit ugly )

Onitsuka Tiger by Asics have given some of their classic models a Rakugaki treatment. Rakugaki, a Japanese term, roughly translates to “doodle” and after taking one look at these models, it will be easy to know why that the name was chosen. The Mexico ’66 and the Samatore features high quality leather uppers with a graph paper like print. No information is presently known about the release.

About the journey itself. It started in 2007 but back then i know that owning this shoe that very moment would be impossible and as the year passes on.. as you know for the limited shoe wont add up in the market so the quantity become lesser and lesser. Earlier this year in 2010 i browsed through a lot of online forum, ebay, mudah, lowyat forum and not a single person who owns this shoe wanted to sell them for some obvious reason.

There's actually a shoe available in eBay international but it costs 299usd. Well you do the math if its not even inclusive of the shipping costs. The shoe location is in New York and you can expect another at least RM200 for the international shipping. Bearing in mind the risk of losing the shoe on the way to Malaysia.

Then today 20th July 2010. I saw someone asking about anyone selling rakugaki ( i gave up asking long time ago ) and there is this one guy stated that he actually owns one and wanted to sell because its small for him. It was 8US 7UK in size. To be honest i am wearing a size bigger but what the heck, i PM the guy and asked him about the price and i would do immediate COD at his place just for the sake of this shoe and the rest is history.

Its been awhile since i watched a really2 good movie. lately the movies in cinema are overshadowed by such good trailer and the movies ended up being overrated and the qualities are horrible. I don't have to name them as many people would just agree with the previous statement. I just got back from Hartamas with my best buddies and we decided to watch a movie in my friend's room. The movie was "the blind side". A true story played by Sandra Bullock (she won oscar best female actress for her role in this movie). I don't think i need to feed you all with unnecessary reviews and spoil the fun but the movie is definitely earned its place in my favourites.

p/s: Sandra Bullock's daughter in the movie is freaking HOT~! :D

Ok lets talk about life. Since i need to extend my course for another six months, i have to wait for the rest of the coursemates to finish their exam and obtain results on the April 15th, therefore currently im unofficially on holiday before the study begins. Well how is the whole thing affecting me? Some of my friends appealed and the faculty decided to let them sit for exam but then i didnt even bother to appeal? why was that? i have my reasons

1. Studying for 3 weeks for study week is nearly impossible as you need to cover 5 years course.So i need a miracle to do it in 6 days. Considering how insecure i am and i need to finish reading everything not just focusing on the importants stuffs,this would clearly be an imbecile move.
2. Currently with my level of knowledge, if i happened to be lucky and passed the exam, im nowhere near reaching satisfaction as i dont want to be a sucked up doctor in the end
3. i strongly believe with 6 months intensive, i am going to be a very good doctor. (I have this situation in my mind,bugging me like mad, that made me think this way, imagine there is a life and death situation and u ended up killing the patient with your lack of knowledge. Do you really think God will forgive you? the family members might forgive you but then, how about Him from high above?)
4. Yes im missing the first RM24000 my colleagues are getting by missing work early, but then again its not like im not going to work later on.

I guess thats about it. when everything crumbles and haunting you and it is hard to make decision, just close your eyes, count to 3.God Bless You :)

Ok don't be too excited or agitated seeing the topic just yet. Im gonna talk a little bit about breast today.. i just got back from Prof Yip's Morning round started around 7am in the morning (yes i know the timing is ridiculous) and ended around 9am.. She brought us to see several patients with breast cancer.. and trust me what i'm going to tell u is nowhere near anything fun.

Well ladies i know breast is a very important part of female body and yes the impact and stigma when someone actually found a lump ( note that the lump doesn't mean its cancerous just yet )is HUGE. So even with a small lump they can be depress, demoralize and sad as hell..

So here is the story and please do learn from this. This patient found lump in her breast about 2 years ago. Well knowing she has a high risk of getting a breast cancer (her mother had breast cancer) she ignored the lump, and didn't get any medical attention.. She went to Ustaz instead. Well im a believer but then be rationale... this clearly can be solved with modern medicine.. praying and all is an effort but everyone knows logically about the solution (Even Ustaz Harundin seek Dr. for his heart condition while praying to Allah of course)

Well i don't know what the ustaz told her, but she strongly believes that the ustaz can cure cancer as he did to a lot of people. She waited and medicated herself by drinking some herbs. Few months later she had a bloody nipple discharge. Medically it is bad indicator but the Ustaz convinced her that the discharge need to be let out as the blood is a "Dirty Blood". She was convinced that the next process is that when the lump is all dried up and the lump will fall on its own. Ridiculous isn't it? well let see what happened to her now...

The tumour fungated until it appears like this (this is not her actual picture) but her real tumour was actually covering her whole left breast and due to the size and the attachment of the tumour to her skeleton, she had trouble to moving her left hand.Trust me the real picture is way devastating compared to this one. The smell was horrible and it attracts fly

So do be aware if u have a high risk of getting a breast cancer. Risk are:

1. Family History of breast Cancer
2. Previous lump found that was benign
3. Early menarche and late menopause
4. Oral Contraceptive pill user
5. U are on Hormone treatment
6. Nulliparous
7. Age >50

Do practice breast self examination.. See below to learn how
Please please please for god sake, take a few minutes of your time everyday to feel your own breast every time you take a bath. Don't wait till its too late

I don't know why am i so affected and sad u died even though it is just the manga. I guess i can truly imagine how is it like to lose a brother.. (i hope my lit bros didn't read this or else they will vomit blood seeing this absurd way of expressing love)
